About us
Superior Livestock Services was established in the year 2000 to service the nutritional needs of the Western Australian Livestock Industry specializing in ruminants namely cattle and sheep. At the time most existing nutrition companies were east coast based or overseas multinationals. We set out to manufacture high specification top quality high performance vitamin mineral supplements specifically formulated and suited to West Australian soil types and conditions . We looked at what was currently available on the market and improved on it, with continual upgrades and improvements to our supplement range as new research came to light aiming for high performance in livestock production systems.
We are a WA company based in WA that only produces top quality, high specification, high performance supplements at a competitive price without the freight costs of Eastern States manufactured product.
Superior Livestock Services is now a leading manufacturer and supplier of animal nutrition supplements into the sheep and cattle industries in WA. We also offer free nutritional advice to our livestock producer customers including free ration formulation for cattle and sheep feedlots and studs. We also provide training for staff of rural resellers of our products such as Nutrien and Elders.
We service most of WA including supplements into the Pilbara, Gascoyne and Meekatharra areas. The business is accredited FEEDSAFE and all our vitamin and mineral supplements are manufactured on site at a modern factory in Belmont.
Leading the team is Henry Strating with his vast experience and passion for the industry spanning 40 years. Henry holds an Associate Diploma in Agriculture specializing in animal nutrition and breeding. Henry has also been farming stud and commercial beef cattle and prime lambs in his own right for over 40 years and his hobbies still lie in the breeding of genetically superior fast growing easy doing stud cattle. Henry has also won numerous broad ribbons and trophy’s at the Perth Royal Show and country shows with his prize winning stud and commercial cattle.
Henry is supported by veterinarian Dr Adrian Baker. Adrian provides technical support to Superior Livestock Services and our products He has extensive experience in rural veterinary practice.
